THE UNKNOWN-TO-AMERICANS REASON RUSSIA IS AT WAR
THE CASPIAN REPORT explains the Kremlin’s foreign policy, military, and security concerns.
The failed “president,” Joe Biden, has not sold the war he is waging to We, the People, paying for it. His failure is the source of the outrage over the cost.
The New York Post explains this president’s inability to articulate why we’re in it to win it. Earlier I explained the obvious chief theater of operations at the southern flank of Europe. I had explained the Baltic problem, potentially the second theater. Even more important is the third - which happens to be the reason Russia is at war.
In contrast to the disinformation from the usual nattering nebbobs of negativism whom I address here, next you will know the facts America needs to know.
Incidentally, none of the characters the naysayers are pushing will become president. Unseasoned about foreign policy, slick, fast-talking “used car salesmen” are not fit to become president. Here’s one case where the “Deep State” has the better idea.
THE HISTORY:
Before the “special military operation” began, Vladimir Putin explained his myth-laden inventions to the Russian people. It is what you heard a couple of talking heads parrot. They are the arguments that Ukraine is Russia proper, and Russia needed to deNazify Ukraine.
Ironic fictions for a Russia that is the home for half of the world’s neo-Nazis, battalions of whom are in Ukraine wearing Russian Federation uniforms.
Below, hear Kremlin-bot Tucker Carlson, who began his video with guest Col. Doug MacGregor, non-verbatim:
“Everything you hear, everything the media tells you about Ukraine and Russia is a lie!”
“As for the Nazis of Ukraine” - I quote from my earlier essay answering Tucker and Vlad - “they do exist in Tucker Carlson's “exotic” world. It is where the bad guy "Nazis" are fighting the good guy "liberators” who invaded their country, seized their sea ports, steel factories, nuclear reactors, mines and natural resources, gas, coal and oil fields, food, medical supplies and grain shipments, while having razed to the ground and obliterated their cities, tied up their civilians before raping, torturing and then shooting them in the back of their heads, kidnapped their children, and are now threatening nuclear strikes against them.”
Do these words not describe Hitler’s invasion of Poland, Czechoslovakia, Ukraine and Russia - and if not on the same scale, Hamas’ incursion into Israel?
Continuing: “Indeed, there were, as Tucker insisted, Nazis in Ukraine.
Most were fighting for Vladimir Putin. And not just one group.”

THE PERSPECTIVE:
Not all of Putin’s casus belli should have been dismissed. A political accommodation could have resolved the Ukraine problem short of war.

THE VOLGOGRAD GAP
The literal meaning of Ukraine is “borderlands”. It has always been a buffer and highway of invasion for forces invading Russia. The eastern border of Russia from Estonia to Southern Ukraine consists of 2000 km (about half the width of the United States); even with 12,000 tanks, it will be difficult for Russia to halt a NATO offensive.
This explains the Russian rationale behind annexing Crimea in the Black Sea coast to its south and maintaining Anti-Access/Area Denial weapons at Kaliningrad military enclave in the Baltic coast to its north.
These two points flank the non-Russian part of the eastern European plain and act as deterrence for invasion through this route.
….An invasion through Ukraine threatens the Volgograd gap, a narrow stretch of land giving Russia access to the Caspian Sea and the Black Sea. Closing this gap is tantamount to choking Russia, as Moscow depends on the Black Sea for accessing the Mediterranean Sea and beyond for all-weather import and export.
In both the World Wars, Germans tried closing the Volgograd gap. The deadly battle of Stalingrad during the Second World War was successfully fought by the USSR to stop Nazi Germany’s capture of the Volgograd gap…”
In other words, Russia’s security needs are real, and are not overstated.

In fact Tucker was so unconcerned about his shows being promoted on Russian TV, Russia Today (RT), and other Kremlin-sponsored news and talk media across Russia and Ukraine, all of which attack American interests, that he remained unconcerned pitching for the Kremlin since February 2022 when the war began, the date Tucker amplified the Kremlin’s messages for American audiences while chuckling and denying he’s ever amplified the Kremlin’s messages.

Boris Johnson, the real leader of the free world never backed down.
Neither has Donald Trump.
Biden vaccilated for a year and a half before giving significant aid to Ukraine.
