The Libertarians and J.D. Vance

We make the bed we sleep in...so please don't mind the pebbles...

Up front we move on to the MISES ORGANIZATION (the Libertarian think tank to which both Tucker Carlson and JD Vance - Trump's choice for VEEP - belong, at least philosophically).

We see the photo and have to ask: what is a pro-Kremlin apologist and ideologue, arguably a traitor and self-promoter propagandist doing on stage, among the to-be-elected officials (in the middle of a war the United States is fighting against the Kremlin), and why is he playing a lead role in the import of this scene?

What was our president thinking?

My own take on MISES, Tucker and Vance:

It's only by chance that I came across an article by Hans-Hermann Hoppe who took upon himself (never mind his German name — or maybe you should) to criticize the pro-Israel libertarian Walter E. Block, as well as Israel’s legitimacy. Block is another famed scholar at MISES who wrote:

NOT IN A MILLION YEARS!

Well, Israel dances at the periphery of this story, so does Turkey and Hungary, but none of them are central to it. The point is, Israel’s legitimacy as a sovereign state is no different from Ukraine’s legitimacy as a sovereign state.

If one would deliberately undermine the existence of one nation, one would easily undermine the legitimacy of the other. The takeaway: the kneecapping of either is in the service of evil men and evil ideologies; and the kneecappers, accordingly, are disingenuous, hypocritical, and evil themselves. Evil is not an arcane idea. Evil is real.

As others have bloviated earlier at MISES about Ukraine, meaning they are clueless about it, Hans-(Mein Kampf) Hermann pretty much spends his "intellectual" capital bashing Israel in behalf of HAMAS and HAMAS-backer Recep Tayyip Erdogan's Turkey.

I returned last fall from Turkey, there to attend the celebration of the Turkish people’s lurch into modernity 150 years ago. It was the holiday from the kind of malevolence, poison, derangement, murder, 6th century Islamic retrograde backwardness, and the corruption its current dictator Erdogan and his Hamas represent. As it were, freedom and liberation is in this Hungarian’s blood, whether for Israel or Ukraine, Hungary or Turkey, or for the United States.

MISES’ narratives about freedom and property rights are merely pretense, the enterprise consists of a bunch of empty suits filled with empty words and ideology to substantiate that organization’s intellectual bankruptcy, incoherence, antisemitism, and malevolence.

Of course, at the end, there’s no substance or historical validation to libertarian ideology at all.

If you’re morally-and-historically centered - and MISES’ Hans certainly is not - you’ll understand that Jordan’s post-partition annexation on April 24, 1950 of the West Bank (correct name Judea and Samaria, which was Hebraic land proper under the partition in which the Arabs got 77% of the former Palestinian territories and the Jews 23%), was patently illegal. The West Bank was then, as it is now, Israel proper.

Accordingly, taking annexed land back in the 1967 Six Day War did not constitute conquest, “occupation,” or colonization, as Israel could neither have colonized nor “occupied” itself.

In 1967 Israel recaptured internationally-recognized, if disputed, territory, and the Jew’s rights to it. Meaning, they recaptured quiet enjoyment of their own homeland. Meanwhile the hostile U.N. is working, with its courts, to expel the Jews (they call them settlers and colonizers) from their rightful inheritance and homes in violation of Oslo and other agreements it has itself promoted earlier.

PENDING ICJ CASE DEMANDS ISRAEL’S UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER TO HAMAS

Under the same logic, Russia’s annexation of Crimea in 2014 was illegal, and the prospect of Ukraine taking that land back at some hopeful future cannot be characterized as colonization and/or “occupation.” A sovereign nation cannot “occupy” itself. Crimea is, and was, Ukraine proper. If the headline above were about Ukraine, it would state PENDING ICJ CASE DEMANDS UKRAINE’S UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER TO THE KREMLIN.

If you didn’t subscribe to a double standard, one for Israel and the Jews, and another for the rest of mankind, these facts hold true. But the underlying explanation for the ICJ’s actions (as judged by the makeup of its panel) can be understood even better with:

ANTISEMITISM 101 - IN 15 SECONDS

In other words, the Israeli people will have gained their freedoms and independence when the world recognizes that the only people who have trespassed, colonized, occupied and squatted on another’s land, Israel’s, are the Arab Palestinians who, after having received 77% of the Palestinian Territories, Jordan, are occupying Israeli territory, Judea and Samaria. The same goes for Ukraine. The Russian armed forces will need to be forced to withdraw back to Russia to repaint their rusted and blown up tanks.

To suggest that Hans-Hermann is a jackbooted-heel-clicking Nazi might be farfetched. To suggest however that apples don't fall far from their trees may not be going far enough; not if one looked deeply into the cause of the rot.

Hans-Hermann used a million word avalanche to snow his readers, to convince them that Block is not an honest conservative aligned with MISES' principles (in other words he’s a Zionist puppet), that to depart from MISES orthodoxy is a War Crime, and GAZA's HAMAS (most of whom are in fact of Egyptian descent as is their former Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat), have more legal and historical rights to the Holy Land than the Jews. 

While we’re exploring absurdum devolving to an even lower improbability and farce, Francophile Napoleon had more rights to Moscow than the Russians, the Russians had more rights to Warsaw than the Poles, and the Germans in WWII had more rights to London and Dublin than the Brits.

I suppose that is why the “Palestinians” have been frantically destroying every ancient Hebraic artifact they could dig up that substantiates Hebraic civilizational rights to Israel, eh Hans?

Tellingly, “Mein Kampf” Hans lives in Hamas-sheltering Erdogan's Turkey with his Muslim wife whose history is reflected in this photo. No agenda here to bash and character-assassinate his MISES colleague and the Jews, eh Hans?

Adolf too was an Austrian "economist" of sorts the Austrian school MISES would have approved of, because…

Hans-Goebbels-Hermann shares the same economic theory Adolf has put in practice, in which you conflate genuine ownership with squatter's rights, which means you take another's property earned by sweat and blood and intended for the enjoyment of the owner’s descendants, and on some fabricated, invented, concocted political and/or racial justification (and by ignoring a series of facts, the law, and reality), you wrap these justifications into an avalanche of words to declare the other’s property your own.

As if squatters have rights to your home just because you've gone on an extended vacation.

And to suggest that Tucker Carlson, standing at the convention next to our much-beloved President is not a Russian Asset. Read the link.

So here we are, anti-Ukraine JD Vance and anti-Ukraine pro-Kremlin propagandist Tucker Carlson standing to each side of our president among the four men on that podium.

Incidentally, did anyone reading this call Barack Obama a Trojan Horse? Or is it OK to ignore our Trojan horses just so we can unpack the other side’s?

Tell me, how much unselfknowing and hypocrisy will we tolerate among ourselves in our acceptance of anti-American anti-civilization ideologues who can, as they have in the past, only push America into grave danger?

In any event, I have my own take on MISES on that organization’s Ukraine policy. In fact, all of it is promoted by J.D. Vance and his mates standing next to Trump, and all of it was dead wrong. It gets better folks. If you don’t have a comprehensive understanding of what is at stake, and MISES certainly doesn’t, inform yourselves, especially see the last paragraphs at the end in the next:
