Apparently you are unaware that the Russians have been waging war on Ukraine since Peter the Great, especially since 1917, in the Holomodor where they murdered up to ten million by starvation, and now. The separatists, allied with Russia, and traitors to Ukraine, could be legitimately paralleled to the US Confederacy. And I think most Americans would agree that bombing the Confederacy was appropriate then, as bombing the separatists is appropriate today.
