WHY WE MUST SCRAP & BURY OBAMACARE NOW!
The Government Shutdown, a Democrat War waged to cover 0.5% of the nation to enrich Obama-Hillary financier Warren Buffett's insurance companies & Berkshire Hathaway, is Bankrupting Us!
The Truth Behind Obamacare
Andrew Benjamin | September 21 2015
NOTE: NEW YORK POST - October 11. 2025 - more than ten years after I wrote the essay below and published then in WESTERN FREE PRESS.
“Democrats shut down the government partly to force Republicans to extend COVID-era boosts in Obamacare subsidies that Dems once called “temporary” but now say are needed to keep the program viable.
This reveals what a true disaster Obamacare has been, as its critics warned even as Dems were ramming it into law with not a single Republican vote in 2010.
Blindly tossing fresh trillions down that hole is nuts: Time to fix it — or scrap it altogether.
The 10-year cost of Dems’ current demand totals almost a half-trillion dollars, to benefit primarily insurers and wealthier Americans.
Under the expiration that Democrats wrote into law, 1.6 million Americans (just 0.5% of the population) would see their subsidies return to pre-COVID levels…”

In a nutshell, Obamacare, an arguably Warren Buffet-driven swindle to transfer We, the People’s wealth to Warren’s bribed politicians and his funds, was meant as a permanent – not temporary – bailout of the insurance industry.
It was meant to assure and guarantee a monopoly (choosing the winners) and consistent and growing profits to a very wealthy and healthy industry. It was meant to remove adverse risk from its operations.
The Affordable Health Care Act was not a misnomer. It was meant to pay out insurance claims affordably…to benefit the insurers. It was meant to transfer the risk from the insurers to the consumer. It had NOTHING to do with providing quality or affordable care to patients. In fact, the well-being of patients was never part of the formula, er, scheme.
In order to have accomplished this transfer of wealth from We, The People to Obama’s chosen elites who own the insurers, and replace and transfer the risk upon The People (in higher premiums, deductibles, and by limiting “care”), the American People were propagandized with fictions - benefits that will never exist. In order to make the program work The People were told that “the young” needed to join and pay their “fair share” of the premiums. In fact, that narrative is a minor part of the whole. The major part is that many of the young haven’t and won’t join. They don’t need health care. They need iPhones. Many of the poor won’t join because they can’t pay and don’t care. They just show up at Emergency Rooms nationwide and YOU pay.
In other words, the only “change” in America’s health care is that The People who are paying will transfer their wealth - and health - to the insurers and their cronies in the Democratic Party.
There’s a 100% profit difference between the insurer paying a claim and not paying it.
When the patient pays for much of his care through higher premiums and deductibles (most will in most cases), the insurer has been released from its obligations and claims against it.
To make the program work it was necessary to remove, modify and/or void existing insurance policies that contain higher risk and premiums calculated to reflect that risk, and place these into a risk pool among the Obamacare family of insurers that have a less risky cohort of patients. Some policies will continue to exist more or less in the form they were initiated, possibly a large number of them, however they will, by law or fiat, have to operate under Obamacare’s regulations and rules, and are to become part of the universal pool covering risk and liabilities. Equity, much desired by the progressives and Josef Stalin, will have been achieved.
Equity meaning, everyone will pay for risk the insurers won’t, in deductibles and higher premiums. What the insurers won’t pay for will be reflected in the future prices of Berkshire-Hathaway stock and the bank accounts of the Obama and Clinton families.
All insurers will be protected and insured by The People to be more or less equally profitable.
Insurance companies that have taken larger risks than others in the past will no longer feel the consequences of having made poor business decisions. They won’t have to, because The People, er, I mean Obama, Pelosi, Hillary, Warren Buffett and the Democrats, have bailed them out. They will continue to self-insure the industry – as opposed to the industry insuring and bailing out The People.
While The People were cynically told that they could keep their insurance companies and their doctors, the companies not yet under the Obamacare umbrella could not pay for their losses or assure continuing profits. A scheme had to be “invented” to deal with this problem. The choice of doctors and insurers have been removed.
Choice needed to be ended. Accordingly, whatever choice once existing for The People was transferred from The People to the insurance industry.
The industry has to approve your choice - meaning it is making the choices, not the patient.
The industry chooses your doctors, it chooses the level of medical care, it chooses the medicine and limits of treatment, it chooses when and if ambulances will be necessary or to pay for them, it chooses the hospitals and clinics and procedures it will pay for, it determines the salaries and benefits for medical professionals, it limits the time a doctor spends with a patient and controls what a doctor says to patients about their treatment. And it chooses your health care plans and how those plans will pay or reimburse you. You also have a choice: you can continue to breathe or discontinue breathing.
The Industry chose not to pay for most medical services because it chose for the patient to pay for them in fees, premiums, legal costs, denial of service, and/or have others pay for them.
The rest of us under “conventional” insurance plans will pay for those in Obamacare or Medicaid – as we will be stuck with the bills the young and the poor won’t pay because those who don’t pay chose to let us pay.
It’s called Free Choice.
In order for the insurance companies to choose your doctors who have no say in the fees they receive, the insurers have to put medical professionals into involuntary servitude, categories and groups of gladiators (unwilling warriors) to perform both the medical services and the accounting for others: paperwork for hospitals and clinics, at non-negotiable fees. And there you see the rise of consolidation and medical groups.
The patient becomes a part on a robotic medical assembly line, laying on a conveyor belt with the mechanics, the doctors, tightening the bolts.
Fees that are set by government bureaucrats directed by the industry, modified and manipulated-for-maximum profits to benefit the insurers - the latter which have in the past, and will going forward, bribe their benefactors to let the first have their way with your health.
The scheme required a takeover of the entire medical profession and the limiting of medical services, limiting the testing of patients, and limiting payouts. It required periodic ethical transgressions and unilateral and unopposed modifications to the law without deliberation, due process, and/or interference from other legislative bodies, courts, and between jurisdictions.
I had pointed out these observations for years in my SNIPPETS bulletins – however they seemed a stretch to the uninitiated.
Now the Roosters have come home to fleece us all, and to enrich Obama’s and Nancy Pelosi’s cronies, as they tell us once again things that will distract the Obamabots only but not normal people: “BUSH LIED!”
Congress has been asleep or culpable in the scam all along; and neither party has any intention of ending Obamacare. Legislators and their families are not subscribed to it – they have their own plans, far superior to Obamacare and yours.
It’s no skin off their backs. Our premiums will skyrocket just to keep this unstable House of Cards from collapsing on itself.
What The People get are speeches, grandstanding, platitudes and promises to “right” things. And Hope & Change.
Warren Buffett gets medals.
The 2012 Republicans in Congress got elected on promises the legislators never intended to keep – to put an end to Obamacare.
The rest of the story is next:
Speaker Boehner on House v. Burwell Ruling
WASHINGTON, DC – House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) issued the following statement regarding the United States District Court for the District of Columbia’s ruling in United States House of Representatives v. Burwell, the House’s litigation challenging President Obama’s unilateral transfer of funds to insurance companies:
“The president’s unilateral change to ObamaCare was unprecedented and outside the powers granted to his office under our Constitution. I am grateful to the Court for ruling that this historic overreach can be challenged by the coequal branch of government with the sole power to create or change the law. The House will continue our effort to ensure the separation of powers in our democratic system remains clear, as the Framers intended.”
NOTE: Consistent with H.Res. 676, the House filed litigation over President Obama’s unilateral changes to ObamaCare on November 21, 2014. Oral arguments were first heard in federal court in Washington, D.C. on May 28.
The Court ruled today that “The House of Representatives has standing to pursue its allegations that the Secretaries of Health and Human Services and of the Treasury violated Article I, § 9, cl. 7 of the Constitution when they spent public monies that were not appropriated by the Congress.”
OBAMACARE AND THE CHICANERY THAT KEPT IT IN BUSINESS IS A MASSIVE FRAUD AGAINST WE, THE AMERICAN PEOPLE!
WE MUST END IT IN THE NEXT APPROPRIATIONS AND BUDGET, RIP IT APART ONE SECTION AFTER ANOTHER, AND THEN BURY IT FOR GOOD!
