In "Why Jewish Settlements on the So-Called West Bank are Lawful Under International Law" Jay Sekulow and Robert Ash provide a legal framework for understanding these policies. They hold that Israel’s measures in the West Bank, including checkpoints and border controls, are consistent with international norms for self-defense and do not constitute apartheid under international law..."

Palestine was an Ottoman territory encompassing The Levant, including Trans-Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Gaza (which is actually Egypt), and Israel.

GENOCIDE IN GAZA?
Not exactly. Why?
Because, Barack Obama says: "Words have meaning."
The words cucumber, automobile, water, and ignorance have meanings.
"Genocide" also has a meaning.
Self defense is not genocide.
Taking out a territory from which thousands of your countrymen were butchered is not genocide. Blowing up 500 km of tunnels dug under apartment houses, schools and hospitals used to launch murderous attacks on Israeli kindergarteners is not genocide. Killing rapists hiding in those tunnels is not genocide.
It is so because the definition of genocide has been agreed to by the international community decades ago. Read it:

In 1980 Gaza had 431,600 residents. Last year it had 2.230,000.
A fivefold-plus population growth in 45 years without any in-migration is not the definition of genocide. Nor is it where ethnic cleansing allegedly occurred.
The Jewish population of Europe in 1933 was 9.5 million. In 1945 it was 3.5 million.

Fall of Assad a Strategic Blow to Vladimir Putin and Iran
“Bashar al-Assad has been overthrown, fleeing Damascus after a rapid rebel advance. But the Syrian dictator is far from the only president likely to be despairing today, for Vladimir Putin is another big loser here.
For Putin, the collapse of the Syrian regime and removal of Assad from power pose (sic) two critical problems. Firstly, it represents a critical strategic loss. Secondly, it represents a stark decline in Russia’s global prestige.
Russia now seems almost certain to permanently lose both its naval base at Tartus and its air base at Latakia, its only such bases in the Middle East. The loss of Tartus is particularly painful, as the base allowed Russia to conduct sustained surface and submarine operations in the Mediterranean Sea, and served as a conduit for operations into the Indian Ocean. This power, and the global prestige it granted, are (sic) now gone. With the Russian Black Sea fleet already locked out of most of those waters under threat of Ukrainian attack, Moscow has lost permanent access to any warm-water ports — a huge dent to Putin’s global ambitions.”

While al-Jawlani is not the leader of HTS, he remains the leader of AQ-affiliated ANF, which is at the core of HTS.
Both Turkey and Egypt, in spite of appearances, are bad actors.
The players in Syria are Muslim Brotherhood offshoots. The MB, according to its progenitor Hassan al-Banna, an Egyptian, wanted a global caliphate. In other words what ISIS/ISIL/DAESH/Nusra Front/al Qaeda/HAMAS want. Accordingly, the wars against Israel by these groups are not about the Palestinians or their “rights.” They are about Jihad - the butchering of non-believers - this being an accurate interpretation of Islam.
Turkeyy's Erdoğan and foreign minister are Islamist supremacists and empire-seekers looking for a return to the Ottoman Empire. A caliphate. I wrote about it early 2022 in The Legacy of Ertuğrul:

Iran wanted a Shia Empire and the Shia Crescent was their way to get it.
The Kremlin wanted a return to the Soviet Empire and to advance their influence for middle eastern hegemony as well. A decade ago they got their wish when the Syrian and the Russian dictators cooperated by opening Russian land and naval bases and ignored Obama’s RED LINE.
Obama’s words were as good as Basher Assad’s and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s.
In ten days Russia lost everything, Iran lost everything, Hezbollah lost everything, and HAMAS lost everything.

Islam’s adherents face Mecca and bow down to Mohammed. I mean, what do you call a 50+ year old man who marries and six year old and consummates the marriage when the bride hit nine? So tell us, does relating this factual story offend Muslims? Do you think the nine year old child was offended?
The pro-Palestinian, pro-pedophile, pro-bloodletting, pro-death sentiment is clearly the path of the HAMAS supporter - a fine goal for the imbeciles marching against Israel, no?
